Personal Interests

Dr. Prest is currently working on a health inequity project. She enjoys traveling and walks with her dog Xloe.

Biography

Despite being born in Washington D.C, she was raised in Montgomery County. Dr. Prest loves all things Maryland (including our flag). She is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park and the School of Medicine in Baltimore. She taught residents and medical students at the University of Maryland Prince George’s Hospital Center, but her favorite experiences as a
doctor come from her time on the Eastern Shore.

Dr. Prest has a special interest is disease prevention and optimizing medical management of chronic diseases, women’s health, rural and underserved medical provider access, and health services to the LGBTQIA community. Dr. Prest is an advocate for healthy alternative lifestyles.

She actively participates on the state and national level to advocate for Health Care and Pharmacy reform in an effort to improve affordability and access to the best care for her patients.
