Ms. Wood moved to the eastern shore in 1984. She raised 3 children here and worked in production agriculture. Ms. Wood chose to be a nurse as a second career, receiving her nursing undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware in 2004. After 11 years as a registered nurse, delivering direct patient care and precepting new hires and students, she decided to pursue and obtain her Masters degree in nursing, family nurse practitioner. Ms. Wood most recently worked as a nurse practitioner in urgent care. She looks forward to participating in the care and treatment of the patients at Rose Hill Family Physicians.
